We held our elective chapter meeting in Leicester on Saturday 3 October, and elected the new Lay Provincial Council, to serve for the next four years.

The new council members are

• Catherine Wallis-Hughes (London)
• Christine Brennan (NE)
• Fernanda Mee (Crawley)
• Margaret Doyle (NE)
• Maria Rupprecht (Bristol)
• Ray Bayliss (NW)
• Teresa Jankowska (Oxford)

The new council will elect people to specific roles at their first meeting.

We also elected 4 reserves, in case anyone has to stand down during the 4-year term of office. The 4 reserves are

• Simon Hewitt (Yorkshire)
• Nick Sutton (Bristol)
• Andy Sipple (Leicester)
• Gavin Jarvis (NE)
