Tamar Lay Dominican Fraternity

Welcome to the Tamar Lay Dominican Fraternity situated in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth. We take in the South West of Britain.

We hold a Fraternity general meeting in Plymouth on the third Tuesday of each month for members and guests across the Diocese and elsewhere. We are open to new members and welcome enquiries. To confirm the venue and details of our next meeting you are invited to email Mrs Geraldine Taylor, President

epldftamar@gmail.com

Please mark your email ‘Meeting Enquiry’ in the subject field and be sure to include your name, address and phone number so we can best advise you on the journey, should you require it; our venues vary from month to month.

Ahead of our general meeting we dine together, at a ‘Jacob’s Join’* meal 7:00pm – 8:00pm. The business of the meeting lasts some ninety minutes 8.00pm – 9.30pm.

* A Jacob’s Join meal is where each invitee brings an item of food, usually a plateful, to share with other guests. The Guardian notes the term originates in Lancashire and Cumbria with our friends in the North West.
