We are the Lay Dominicans of the English Province.
We are ordinary Roman Catholics, single or married, from every walk of life, who have made a commitment to the Order, and to the spirit and charism of St. Dominic, not in a convent or monastery but in our ordinary lives.
Lay Dominicans are part of the spiritual family of the Order of Preachers, spread across the globe and commonly known as Dominicans after our founder, St Dominic de Guzman. From 1206, the Dominican family has included lay and clerical members alongside religious men and women of the conventual life.
The English province is an administrative area encompassing Scotland, Wales, and Grenada WI as well as England.
Whatever has brought you here, we hope you find what you are looking for. Take some time to look around.
