The island of Jamaica has been devastated by a major hurricane. The Dominican friars in Jamaica and Grenada are members of our Province, and are involved in the work to provide relief and assistance to the people affected. Fr Clifton Harris OP, the superior of the Dominican community, has been appointed to an Archdiocesan team coordinating the relief effort for the west of the island. He is also organising communal meals at the parish church in August Town.
