In September 2025, the friars of the English Province are expecting a large intake of men to join as novices! As of May 2025, 8 applicants have been accepted to join. They are being called from many backgrounds, and are a sign of hope for the universal Church, especially for its intellectual life.

It costs £12,000 a year to support one of the novices, rising to £19,000 a year once they become student brothers, and the friars have begin a fundraising campaign (as well as building work to accommodate them in Cambridge!).
