For those coming to the Assembly in Leicester, the Frassati Centre is on Wellington Street, just behind the priory church of Holy Cross. The postcode is LE1 6HW.

Driving: On-street car parking is available on Wellington Street, Dover Street or Princess Road West, but these are all time-limited and you will not be able to stay there for the entire day. The nearest off-road car parks are at Dover Street LE1 6PW, Upper Brown Street LE1 6PW and Newarke Street LE1 5SN. There is also a car park in East Street, but be aware that it is more expensive.

Train: The Centre is just a short walk from Leicester Railway Station – cross London Road and walk up pavement along the side of Waterloo Way.  When you get to New Walk, turn right.  You will see the church on your right as you walk along after a hundred yards or so. Come around to the opposite side of the church to find the entrance to the Frassati Centre.

Bus: Any bus that goes along London Road will stop outside of the train station – then follow directions from there.

Accommodation: There is the usual choice of properties for various budgets available on sites such as Booking.com and Airbnb. For hotels, the budget options are Premier Inn and Ibis, both near the railway station. Mid-range options include the Belmont Hotel in New Walk and the Hotel Brooklyn on Welford Road, as well as the Ramada on Granby Street. Please be aware that early booking is recommended wherever you want to stay. There are plenty of places to eat out across the city.

If you have time to do a spot of tourism, there is the Richard III centre within the city and, 12 miles out near Whitwick, the Cistercian monastery of Mount St Bernard where Blessed Cyprian Tansi was a monk.
