The aim of this subject is to address some of the issues that have been raised by individuals, fraternities and the Lay Provincial Council.

• Fraternities as communities: how do people build community and sustain it between meetings?
• The place in our communities of those who are not Lay Dominicans but who are associated with fraternities e.g. those who attend regularly but cannot or do not wish to make profession.
• Lay Dominicans who choose not to attend their fraternity
• Lay Dominicans who are unable to attend their fraternity (e.g. distance, health)
• Enquirers who are not near any fraternity.
