Key Ideas and Examples through a Dominican Lens

The Las Casas Institute has recently released online six short videos presenting key principles of Catholic Social Teaching illustrated with examples and insight from past and present-day Dominican men and women across the globe. Each video ends with suggested ideas of how viewers can put into practice the principles of CST discussed.

The videos are free to view and are designed for general use in parishes, sixth-form colleges, and university chaplaincies, as well as use among members of the Dominican Family. They cover:

  1. What is it to be human?
  2. The Economy
  3. The World of Work
  4. The Environment
  5. Conflict Resolution and Peace-Building
  6. Citizens’ Responsibilities in a Democracy

A reading list on the website is provided for each video with suggested materials for further study.
