Ted Bachell was a member of the London Fraternity for many years, and he will also be known to people across the province from his regular attendance at the Seminar and the Assembly, although his health has meant that he has not been able to attend in recent years. Despite that, he continued to support the fraternity through his prayers.

Ted died on 3 February. His funeral will be held on 15 March and the London fraternity will arrange to have a Mass said for him separately.
