*Learning Chant With Lay Dominicans*

Most Friday mornings in school term time a few Lay Dominicans of the English Province gather to practice chant. Much of the chant is from the Dominican tradition, though not exclusively. We meet by video conference (Teams, Zoom) and use a range of printed and recorded music to facilitate learning. 

Each participant chooses a piece to learn. In their own time they practice during the week, ideally ten minutes a day. On Friday mornings, 9am, we gather to run through what we have learned in the past seven days. Each sharing and hearing the learning of the others. The session is 30 minutes duration.
