‘Sing Like a Dominican’

On Saturday 15th February, Bristol Fraternity hosted an event called ‘Sing Like a Dominican’. On Friday 7 February, Lay Dominicans from across the province joined the rest of the Dominican family at Mass at Blackfriars in Oxford, to celebrate the elevation to the cardinalate of fr. Timothy Radcliffe OP. The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia, the Apostolic Nuncio, and fr. Nicholas Crowe, the Prior Provincial, preached.

Jo Sheppard RIP

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Jo Sheppard. Jo was in her 90s and died of heart failure on Friday 11th October. Her Requiem Mass will be at 10.00 in her parish church, St Felix’s in Haverhill, on Thursday 21st November. Jo had been a Servite sister and a teacher in London

A New Group in Glasgow

We are delighted to announce that we are starting a new Fraternal Group in Glasgow. Over the last couple of years we have been celebrating the growth of the Lay Dominican presence in Scotland, with many new enquirers approaching the group in Edinburgh. Many of those attending the meetings in Edinburgh were travelling a considerable
