It is with profound sadness we have to report the passing of Antonia (Toni) Lacey, of the Oxford Lay Dominican Fraternity, after a long and inspiring struggle against a range of infirmities. Jasper Scovil

Jasper’s funeral will take place at Blackfriars Oxford, on Saturday 6th September at 11 am. The reception of his body is at 5.30 pm the previous evening. All are very welcome. Please continue to pray for his sister Cecilia and all who miss him.

Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate

Celebrating St. Dominic’s Day

On the Feast of St. Dominic the North East Fraternity celebrated with a visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of Jesmond, where they said the Rosary, Vespers at St. Dominic’s Church in Newcastle and a meal at the restaurant which now occupies Medieval Blackfriars – in the dining room which was the friars’ refectory

Jasper Scovil RIP

Annual Lay Dominican Assembly

This year’s annual assembly for the Lay Dominicans of our Province takes place on Saturday, 20th September. The event will be at the Frassati Centre, Parish of the Holy Cross, Leicester, and the cost of the day is £15.
